Anna Paula

Anna has a B.A in Animation and Digital Art, completed a 700Hr Yoga Teacher Training and is a Licensed Zumba Instructor. She enjoys dancing, sketching, doing yoga, strolling in nature with her cats and spending time with family and friends.

Anna begin to develop her dance skills at the age of three. In her youth she learned Ballet, and Jazz, and during College Salsa, Bachata, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Irish dance. On 2009, Anna began her yoga journey as a student and on 2012 she completed her first Yoga Teacher Training with Lizy Ballesteros - Yogaser. On 2013 she moved to Vancouver to pursue her career in Animation and Digital Art and continue her yoga and dance education.

Studios like Harbour Dance Centre or trainings through Zumba have enriched Anna’s teaching skills. She has studied in recognized institutions like Vancouver School of Healing Arts - VSOHA (before Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage), with exceptional instructors such as Christine Price Clark, Lauren H. Roegele, Shannon Cluff, Natalie Rousseau, among others.

She has been teaching a variety of dance and yoga classes since 2010 and offering regular, group, corporate and private classes all around Lower Mainland since 2014.

Anna is currently working on developing her digital art skills at WildBrain Studios and offering yoga and/or dance group, and/or private classes on her spare time. (Check her agenda here)

Mexican contemporary dancer.

Maco has participated in major festivals in Mexico, United States and Canada as a choreographer and a dancer. She is currently an active dancer at ICTUS DANZA where she performs in “Concerto Grosso”, by Gerardo Sánchez, and “La Otra Naturaleza”.

Maco is a co-founder, dancer, and choreographer of CHANGOS DANZA CONTEMPORÁNEA. “Birds”, “For Sixty Seconds”, “Black Friday”, and “Umbria” are a few choreographed pieces she has created.

Maco has collaborated with Fóramen M. Ballet and performed in “Name me so I don't get lost”, by Gerardo Sánchez, and“ Dare to play” by Gabriela Rosero. She has performed at the Palacio of Bellas Artes the play "Ecos Silenciosos" directed by Beatriz Madrid, and has performed and choreographed “Wake up the Earth” in Boston, Massachusetts.

Maco has been a dance member of “Corpóreo Danza Contemporánea”, directed by Jorge Lizaso, and The Emerging Company Morelos Danza, directed by Wendy Plata. She has also participated in the play “Danza para Revueltas” by Serafín Aponte was part of the play “Absentia” directed by Alberto Pérez.
